The Kit Carson Volunteer Fire Department held their 2022 Victim’s Assistance Fund Raiser at their headquarters on March 19th, 2022. The event featured a chili dinner courtesy of Watson’s Smokin’ BBQ, a silent auction, dancing and live music from Rodeo Road Apples. KCVD started the victim’s assistance fund in 2018. With the help of local business, community members and volunteers, the department has donated back over $10,000 to families in need.
