2nd Alarm Commercial Fire

On December 12th, 2022 around 19:06 Longmont Emergency Communication Center (LECC) dispatched Longmont Fire Department to a multi-story commercial and residential structure fire in the 2000 block of Lonosphere St. in the Prospect neighborhood. Crews arrived to smoke showing from ground level commercial business and due to the size of the building and with residential above the businesses, and a 2nd alarm was requested. Crews found the fire which was quickly extinguished. The fire location was in a business in the 600 block of Tenacity Drive that was undergoing renovation.
