Wildfire Preparedness Meeting

On May 25th, 2022 Eagle Valley Wildland hosted a Wildland Open House and Wildfire Preparedness Meeting for Eagle County residents primarily residing in the Gypsum, Greater Eagle, and Eagle River Fire Districts. The meeting was held at Greater Eagle’s Station 9 and Eagle Valley Wildland/Greater Eagle’s Wildland Coordinator presented on how to keep houses safe from fires.

Eagle Valley Wildland is a collaborative partnership between Eagle County, Gypsum Fire Protection District, Greater Eagle Fire Protection District and Eagle River Fire Protection District that is dedicated to reducing the risk of wildfires through mitigation, suppression, and community education.
