South Adams Garage Fire

At 19:38 on December 26th, 2022 AdCom dispatched South Adams County Fire Department with Adams County Fire Rescue, Thornton Fire Department and Platte Valley Ambulance to a reported structure fire in the 8000 block of Jasmine St. in Derby. Tower 24 arrived to a small single-story single-family residential with defensive fire conditions, secured their own water supply in defensive strategy. Battalion 21 arrived and took over command and assigned Engine 23 to pull a line off Tower 24 for fire attack and control. Engine 26 arrived and assigned to assist with fire attack and search with Engine 14. Tower 24 put their stick up on the Charlie side for master stream operations and Ambulance 23 set-up rehab. The fire was put under control at 20:24 and crews started overhaul. There were no reported injuries and the fire is under investigation.
