Next Level Extrication Training

On April 2nd, 2022 firefighters from Pueblo, El Paso, and Fremont counties attended an excellent training put on by Next Level Extrication at Pueblo Fire Department Station 4 and Pueblo Fire Department training grounds. The morning was spent going over electric vehicle fires and extrication and the risks involved with mitigation of those problems and how to do so safely. The afternoon was hands on with crews practicing different techniques and tools on vehicle fires to help demonstrate what would be done on an electric vehicle. Firefighters from Pueblo Fire Department, Pueblo West Fire Department, Pueblo Rural Fire Protection District, Beulah Fire Fire Protection District and Ambulance District, Pueblo County Sheriff Emergency Services Bureau (ESB) Fire Team, West Park Volunteer Fire Department, Fort Carson Fire & Emergency Services, and Canon City Area Fire Protection District attended.
