Working Attic Fire

Around 09:00 on July 9th, 2022 crews from Loveland Fire Rescue Authority, Berthoud Fire Protection District and Front Range Fire Rescue were dispatched to a possible residential structure fire in the area of Hwy. 60 & Weld County Rd. 7. Battalion 41 arrived to a small single-story double wide with a working attic fire in the offensive strategy and all occupants safely out. Engine 61 arrived and pulled a line in for fire attack and Engine 2901 secured the water supply. Crews were able to get the fire under control quickly in the attic area and on the interior of the house. One firefighter was evaluated for heat exhaustion by Thompson Valley EMS.
