On August 5th, 2022 at 16:33 West Metro Fire Rescue with auto-aid from Arvada Fire Protection District responded to a reported structure fire in the 2900 block of Wright Court in Wheat Ridge. Jeffcom advised that 911 caller reporting fire inside the bedroom wall. Engine 17 arrived to a single-story with nothing showing and no evacuations and started the investigation. Crews found active fire in the Alpha-Delta corner bedroom and pulled a 1 3/4 for fire attack. Battalion 52 arrived and assumed command in the offensive strategy and Engine 5 setup the water supply. Medic 5 with Tower 2 assisted with fire attack and the primary search and Engine 6 started ventilation. The fire was put under control and out at 16:51. The fire started in the wall between a bedroom and the living room and contained to the area of origin. The fire was caused by a soldering torch, where a plumber that morning had been working on a pipe. Additional information provided by West Metro Fire Rescue
