At 08:11 on March 30th, 2022 West Metro Fire Rescue with auto-aid from Arvada Fire Protection District responded to a possible structure fire in the 7600 block of W. 32nd Ave. in Wheat Ridge. JeffCom advised RP reporting flames showing from a 3rd floor apartment. District 1 arrived to a large three-story multi-family with nothing showing and started the investigation. Engine 16 arrived with Medic 16 and advised of smoke showing from the 3rd floor window. Engine 1 arrived and assigned to pull 1 3/4 to the 3rd floor unit for primary search and fire attack. Engine 17 assigned as RIT and Medic 1 with medical. Aggressive fire attack contained the fire to a third floor unit. There were no injuries and residents were able to get out before firefighters arrived. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Additional information provided by West Metro Fire Rescue
