AMR Safety Jam

Hundreds of families and kids gathered in the Lake Minnequa Veterans Memorial Park for the annual AMR Safety Jam Pueblo was held in downtown Pueblo On June 3rd, 2023. There were multiple booths for kids to visit along with apparatus from tons of local agencies. Kids were able to paint trucks from the Colorado Department of Transportation fleet and pick up stickers and swag from other places along the way. Free helmets were given out along with a handful of bikes to several lucky kids. Two helicopters from Flight For Life and UCHealth LifeLine landed and greeted the kids as well. The AMR safety jam is an annual event in Pueblo and many kids take part in the fun. Some of the agencies on scene were Pueblo Fire Department, Pueblo Police Department, Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office, Pueblo Rural Fire Protection District, West Park Volunteer Fire Department, Colorado Parks and Wildlife, City of Pueblo City Government and more. AMR Safety Jam
