South Metro Apartment Fire

On May 5th, 2023 around 14:13 South Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a multi-family structure fire at Greentree Village, 1000 S. Parker Rd. in Arapahoe County. The fire was located in the crawl space of the building, which made access difficult. However, crews were able to extinguish the fire before it could extend into units. The crews ventilated the building and ensured that it was safe before allowing residents to return to their homes. No injuries were reported during the incident. The SMFR Fire Marshal’s Office is now investigating the cause of the fire. Additional information provided by South Metro Fire Rescue
