Arvada Hazmat Training

Arvada Fire Protection District and the Fairmount Fire Protection District conducted their annual hazardous materials training at Fairmount Station 33 in Wheat Ridge on June 9th, 2023. The training involved an unresponsive drive and an unknown substance in the bed of a truck. Crews donned their Class A gear to conduct recon, mitigation and taking samples to identify the substance. The annual training helps improve and maintain hazmat readiness.
