Aurora Structure Fire

On October 15th, 2023 at approximately 16:05 Aurora Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported residential structure fire at 4212 S. Quemoy Court. Engine 10 arrived on scene and found a fire behind a single-family residential dwelling that spread into the building. Crews were able to quickly extinguish the fire and spent about an hour on scene pulling ceiling, checking for extension and ventilating the building. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
