Platte Canyon Preventive Recon

Platte Canyon Fire Protection District Brush 2 was performing preventive Recon work for the Forest Service and visited Strontia Springs Reservoir on July 26th, 2023. Prior to leaving the area a smoke sighting was spotted and Brush 2 was part of the response. A Helo from Douglas County made water drops on the small fire and quickly contained the fire.
