
Brighton Country Hills Drive House Fire
Brighton Structure Fire
At 08:23 on May 19th, 2024 Adcom dispatched Brighton Fire Rescue District and South Adams County Fire Department to a structure fire at 14431 Country Hills Drive. The call was upgraded by dispatch to a working fire as a grass fire spread to the home and up into the eve with active flames on the roof. Engine 27 reported smoke in air and Battalion 52 requested for additional tenders to the scene for non-fire hydrants in the area. SAM 51 arrived on scene to a working fire in a single-story ranch style house with smoke and flames from roof on the Delta side. Engine 27 arrived and pulled 1 3/4 for fire attack and search. Battalion 51 arrived and assumed command on Alpha side and assigned Tower 52 with the primary search with Medic 51. Engine 53 arrived and assigned with the water supply to Engine 27 and Medic 52 as medical. Tender 55 set up water ops and Engine 55 assigned to pull a 2nd line to Alpha-Delta side for vegetation and tree on fire. Tender 52 set up with water ops. After the crews got the fire under control, several stuff animals were rescued which these stuffed animals were very important to the child that lives there. All occupants evacuated safety before firefighters arrived on scene and the cause is under investigation. Additional information and photos provided by Brighton Fire Rescue District
