The Adams County Sheriff’s Office hosted Operation Freebird at Mountain States Toyota, 201 W. 70th Ave. on November 23rd, 2024. The annual giveaway is designed to to provide the makings for a Thanksgiving meal to needy families in the community. The event also provided information on health screenings, dental care, mental health services, employment, veteran services and childcare. Adams County Emergency Management and Adams County Fire Rescue also participated in the event. ACFR debuted Engine 11 with it new “One Pill Can Kill” anti-fentanyl wrap.
