Castle Rock Fire & Rescue Department Firefighter Andrew Koldeway memorial was held on October 11th, 2024 in Castle Rock. His service was preceded by a procession of Castle Rock Fire apparatus which went past Station 151. Andrew passed away on October 2nd, 2024, after a sudden and severe illness. Andrew was 43 years-old and he was born on June 24th, 1981 in Colorado to Larry and Wanda Koldeway and leaves behind his devoted wife, Angie and their four children: Harper, 10 years-old, Camdyn, 5 years-old, Kasen, 2 years-old, and Madelyn, 1 years-old. Andrew was vice president of Kiowa Fire Protection District Board of Directors, joined Castle Rock Fire in February of 2023 and was a firefighter for 21 years. Andrew also served with the Southeast Weld Fire Protection District, Bennett Fire Protection District and Byers Fire Protection District.
