Strasburg Weed Fire

On July 12th, 2024 at 15:45 Strasburg Fire Protection District with the I-70 corridor fire departments responded to a weed fire on I-70 at mile markers 311 in unincorporated Arapahoe County. Crews arrived to heavy fire showing and started fire attack. The fire was put under control within an hour and crews worked on overhaul and hot spots. Crews worked in over 100 degrees weather during the fire.
