Arvada Safety Day

Arvada Fire Protection District held their annual Safety Day at the Training Center, 6651 Indiana St. on September 28th, 2024. Kids of all ages enjoyed fun activities including fire apparatus tours, meeting first responders, A live fire sprinkler burn demonstration. Friends of Arvada Fire, Arvada Police Department, Colorado Division of Fire Prevention & Control, Dave’s Locker, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Jefferson County Communications Center Authority (JeffCom 911), Metro One Ambulance, Cert Emergency Prep and others were on hand with interactive safety booths and information about safety and emergency preparedness. Fairmount Fire Protection District was also on hand to answered important questions that was related to the proposed merger with Arvada Fire with the ballot this November of 2024.
