Arvada Fence / Vegetation Fire

On January 5th, 2024 at 22:34 Arvada Fire Protection District and West Metro Fire Rescue responded to a possible structure fire in the area of Sheridan Blvd. off I-76. Engine 51 arrived to a working fire from a fence and vegetation on the westside of Sheridan Blvd. Crews advised that Adams County Fire Rescue was also on scene. Crews were able to quickly extinguished the fire with no structures involved and was contained to a fence line and vegetation only. No injuries were reported and the cause is unknown at this time and under investigation. Additional information provided by Arvada Fire Protection District
