Arvada West 63rd Ave Structure Fire

On July 12th, 2024 at 9:32 Arvada Fire Protection District responded to a possible structure fire in the 8000 block of W. 63rd Ave. Jeffcom received a 911 call about what sounded like an explosion and active fire outside of the house. Bureau 57 arrived to an fire on the exterior of the structure with possible extension to the eves on the Delta side and Battalion 52 arrived in command. Engine 55 arrived to a confirmed working fire and pulled 1 3/4 line to knock down a fire on the exterior of the structure and Engine 51 secured the water supply and then made entry into the garage. Rescue 52 arrived and pull a line off Engine 55 and went to the attic for extension. The fire was put under control and crews started overhaul in the near 100 degree weather.
