Aurora Residential Structure Fire

On June 2nd, 2024 at approximately 16:00 Aurora 911 Emergency Communications dispatched Aurora Fire Rescue to a reported residential structure fire in the 176oo block of E. Bethany Place. Engine 10 reported black smoke several blocks away and found heavy fire upon arrival. Units were on scene about an hour extinguishing the fire, checking for hot spots and mopping up. A neighboring residence was also damaged in the fire. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
