Aurora Animal Rescue

On January 23rd, 2024 at approximately 16:30 Aurora Fire Rescue was dispatched to an animal rescue at Shenandoah Park, 4 851 S. Shenandoah Way. Aurora911 advised responding units that a dog had fallen through the ice. Crews arrived on scene and were able to successful extract the dog from a pond who ran off as soon as he was out of the water. No injuries were reported.
