Joder Ranch Brush Fire
On July 8th, 2024 at 11:12 Boulder County Communication Center dispatched Lefthand Fire Protection District, Boulder Mountain Fire Protection District, Boulder Rural Fire Rescue, Boulder County Fire Management, Allenspark Fire Protection District, Gold Hill Fire Protection District, Hygiene Fire Protection District, Jamestown Volunteer Fire Department, Four Mile Fire Protection District, Lyons Fire Protection District to a reported brush fire at Joder Ranch, 7400 block of N. Foothills Hwy in unincorporated Boulder County. Trail crews with the City of Boulder Open Space & Mountain Parks were cutting brush just west of the trailhead when they observed six to seven-foot flames igniting approximately 100 to 200 feet west of their location. The crew immediately called 911. Crews from multiple agencies were able to keep it to approximately 1.5 acres. No structures were damaged, and there were no injuries.
