Boulder County Grass Fire

On December 14th, 2024 in the afternoon Boulder County Communications received several reports about a possible grass fire near Phillips Rd. and N. 95th St. east of Boulder. In response, multiple agencies, including Mountain View Fire Rescue, Boulder Rural Fire Rescue, Lafayette Fire Department, and the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the scene. The first arriving engine reported that the fire had spread across about 2 acres, was close to structures, and was being driven by gusty winds.
