North Metro Kitchen Fire

Around 14:35 on November 15th, 2024 North Metro Fire Rescue District responded to a structure fire at in the 4100 block of San Luis Way in the Anthem section of Broomfield. Broomfield Public Safety Communications Center reported it as a kitchen fire from a gas stove with extension into the cabinets. Engine 66 arrived with smoke showing from Charlie side and the crew took a can and pulled a 1 3/4 handline for fire attack. The fire was knocked down quickly with the can. Crews remained on the scene checking for extension and ventilation. No injuries were reported. Additional information provided by North Metro Fire Rescue District
