South Metro Electrical Fire

On September 22nd, 2024 at approximately 03:20 South Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported residential structure fire at 6090 S. Biscay St. in Centennial. Crews arrived on scene to find an electrical box fire on the east side of a single-family home. Firefighters waited approximately thirty minutes for CORE Electric to shut of the power and were quickly able to extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation.
