West Metro Stove Fire

On July 8th, 2024 at 16:40 Jeffcom dispatched West Metro Fire Rescue and Arvada Fire Protection District to a possible structure fire in the 2200 block of Jay St. in Edgewater. Engine 1 arrived to a small single-story with smoke showing from the Bravo side and started the investigation with Medic 11. District 1 arrived and assumed command and crews found a stove fire. The fire was quickly put under control and the rest of the response was cancelled. No injuries were reported. Additional information provided by West Metro Fire Rescue
