Erie Residential Structure Fire
On October 27th, 2024 at 21:37 Boulder County Communications (1800) dispatched Mountain View Fire Rescue, Lafayette Fire Department and Louisville Fire Protection District to a possible house fire in the 2200 block of Moss Place in the Vista Ridge neighborhood in Erie. Dispatch advised of multiple callers reporting flames and smoke visible with fire that started in the deck in the back and spreading to the main structure. Battalion 2660 requested to upgrade the call to a “fill the box” full structure fire. Engine 208 arrived on scene to a working fire on the Charlie side with flames showing from the second floor, pulled a 1 3/4 for fire attack in the offensive strategy and established their own water supply. The second floor and the rear of the home suffered the most significant damage. Two people were inside the home, but got out in time safely and unharmed. The fire was put under control at 22:09.
