On January 29th, 2024 at approximately 15:45 South Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported residential structure fire in the 17600 block of Snowberry Way in Parker. Multiple callers reported the fire and smoke could be seen from Arapahoe Rd. Firefighters arrived on scene and found heavy fire in the garage of a single family home spreading to the house. Crews were on scene about an hour extinguishing the fire, checking for hot spots and mopping up. The American Red Cross was requested to assist the displaced occupants and several pets. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
