West Metro Structure Fire

At 08:42 on July 5th, 2024 West Metro Fire Rescue and South Metro Fire Rescue responded to a possible structure fire in the 8400 block of Snaffle Bit Court in Roxborough Park. Jeffcom advised that a fence fire and possibly spreading to the house. Engine 15 arrived on scene to a two-story single-family residents with smoke and fire from an attached fence and moving into the eves above the garage attic and pulled a 1 3/4 in for fire attack with Medic 15. Engine 19 secured the water supply to Engine 15 and Truck 14 made entry into the garage door and then started the primary search with Engine 13. Engine 19 finished the water supply and then assigned to pulled a 2nd line off Engine 15 for fire attack. District 3 arrived and assumed command in the offensive strategy.  Crews were able to quickly get the fire under control with no extension into the main living space. There was fire damage to the fence, siding, and garage. No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation. Additional information provided by West Metro Fire Rescue
