South Adams Commercial Fire

On March 25th, 2024 at 11:04 Adcom dispatched South Adams County Fire Department to a commercial structure fire at 10150 Hwy. 2. Battalion 21 arrived to a working fire in a single-story commercial structure and requested a major incident tone. Engine 27 arrived and pulled a line in for fire attack and search. Engine 26 established the water supply and then pulled a 2nd line. Evacuation tones were sent out to switch the fire to defensive attack with a sagging roof. Several attack lines were pulled and Tower 24 started master stream operations. The fire was put under control after 12:00 and crews started an extended overhaul. No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation. Additional information provided by South Adams County Fire Department
