South Metro Structure Fire

On February 15th, 2024 at approximately 21:05 South Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported residential structure fire at 6425 S. Xanadu Way in Arapahoe County. Tower 35 arrived on scene and observed smoke coming from one of the garages in the multi-family residential structure. Crews forced open the garage and found fire coming from a sport utility vehicle. Firefighters were on scene about an hour extinguishing the fire, checking for extension and ventilating the building. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
