The Great Turkey Gaggle

The Arvada Fire Protection District and the Westminster Fire Department participated in the Great Turkey Gaggle at the old Hobby Lobby in Arvada, 7815 Wadsworth Boulevard on November 9th, 2024. The two departments engaged in a friendly competition to collect Thanksgiving turkeys for needy families in the area. This year the two departments collected 400 turkeys from generous members of the community. Arvada won the competition with 201 turkeys slightly edging out Westminster with 199.
