Westminster Garage Fire

At 15:10 on June 16th, 2024 Westminster Fire Department, North Metro Fire Rescue District and Adams County Fire Rescue responded to a residential structure fire in the 3900 block of W. 99th Place. Westminster Communications Center advised that 911 caller reporting fully involved garage and everyone out of the structure. Battalion 1 arrived to a two-story single-family working fire from the garage, extending into the attic space and in command on the Alpha-Bravo corner in the offensive strategy. Truck 2 pulled 2 1/2 to the Alpha side 2nd floor and Engine 2 secured the water supply. Engine 2 then pulled a 1 3/4 to the Alpha side 1st floor for fire control. Truck 62 pulled a 2nd line off Engine 2 to the 2nd floor for fire control and search. The fire was put under control at 15:30 and crews started overhaul. All residents evacuated before arrival and crews escorted one dog from the house. The cause is under investigation and no injuries were reported.
