A service was held for Brian Gould on November 20th, 2006 at the Poudre Valley Hospital followed by a large procession to the Faith Evangelical Free Church, 3920 S. Shields St. in Fort Collins for his funeral service. Brian was 42 years-old and passed away on November 16th, 2006 when he was involved in a car crash coming home from work on Hwy. 287 near Ted’s Place when his pick up truck crossed over the center line into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a semi-trailer. Brian joined the Louisville Volunteer Fire Department where he served as an EMT and then as a paramedic and an assistant fire chief, paramedic for the Poudre Valley Hospital District in Fort Collins where he worked for 17 years. He was a paramedic on the Union Pacific Steam Engine Excursions with Locomotive 844 and Locomotive 3985, Skywarn severe weather spotter, started the Rocky Mountain Scanner Net, an editor of the radio scanner guide ScanColorado and founded Mountain News Net (MNN). He served as an assistant fire chief with the Glacier View Fire Protection District in Livermore. Brian is survived by his wife, Jennifer Stackler-Gould, his parents, William and Beverly Gould and stepdaughter Amanda Stone. Information provided by Legacy
