West Metro Vehicle Fire

On October 22nd, 2025 at 12:11 West Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a vehicle fire on eastbound C-470 near W. Bowles Ave. Upon arrival, crews located a single vehicle with a working engine fire, on the right shoulder and approximately ½ mile west of W. Bowles Ave. Crews quickly knocked down and extinguished the fire. All eastbound C-470 lanes were blocked, which caused an approximate 2-mile backup. No injuries were reported.
