Arvada Structure Fire

*On November 23rd 2025 at 04:49 Jeffcom 911 dispatched Arvada Fire Protection District and West Metro Fire Rescue was alerted to a possible structure fire in the 6100 block of Marshall St. with multiple callers reporting flames showing. Before fire crews arrived Arvada Police officers arrived and found a fully engulfed home with a trapped person in the basement area and officers rescued the individual out of the basement window. Engine 51 arrived to a small single-story single-family residential with a working fire from the pulled a 1 3/4 for fire attack in the offensive strategy with Medic 51. Engine 51 secured their own water supply, Truck 54 started the primary search and ventilation and Medic 54 assigned as the medical group. Rescue 52 started the primary search and crews worked heavy smoke and heat and reported of possible trapped occupants in the basement area and additional resources were requested to the scene. Battalion 51 arrived and took over command on the Alpha side. One dog was rescued from a bedroom. Medic 55 transported one patient with unknown injuries to a local hospital. The fire was put out at 05:04 and no other injuries were reported. American Red Cross was requested to the scene. The fire cause is under investigation.
