Arvada Garage Fire

On December 22nd, 2025 at 12:59 Arvada Fire Protection District, West Metro Fire Rescue and Pleasant View Fire District was dispatched to a possible structure fire in the 5100 block of Youngfield Court. Rescue 52 arrived to a small two-story single-family home with a working fire from the garage and started the primary search and ventilation. Engine 56 arrived and secured the water supply and pulled 1 3/4 for fire attack with Engine 17. Battalion 52 arrived and assumed command in the offensive strategy. Crews got the fire under control with no extension and started an extended overhaul. Two occupants were inside at the time of the fire and were able to escape. One individual was transported to a local hospital for evaluation due to smoke inhalation. The scene is under investigation for the cause of the fire.
