South Adams Garage Fire

At 07:46 on January 27th, 2026 South Adams County Fire Department, Thornton Fire Department and Platte Valley Ambulance responded to a structure fire in the 16800 block of E. 113th Court. Safety 21 arrived to a small detached garage shed/shop structure on fire with vehicles inside. Battalion 21 arrived and assumed command and requested a major incident tone. Crews were able to get the fire put under control quickly and contained to the detached garage/shop only. No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation. Additional information provided by South Adams County Fire Department
