Allenspark Structure Fire

At 11:31 on January 26th, 2026 Allenspark Fire Protection District, Lefthand Fire Protection District, Boulder Emergency Squad and Estes Park Health Paramedics responded to a possible structure fire in the 10400 block of Hwy. 7 in Allenspark. Boulder County Communications advised that 911 caller reporting fire under the deck and smoke inside the home. Chief 5261 arrived to a two-story residential structure with a fully involved deck fire extending into the home and the vegetation with evacuations. Engine 5203 arrived and pulled 2 1/2 for fire attack in the defensive operations and Engine 5201 secured the water supply. Crews worked the fire in high winds in the area which contributed to the rapid fire spread and spot fires around the perimeter of the incident and structure protection was also requested. With limited water in the area, water tenders were used to transport water to the scene from St. Malo. A detached garage on the property was not impacted. All family members and pets were able to evacuate the residence safely and no injuries were reported. The cause is under investigation by the MAFIT (Multi-Agency Fire Investigation Team).
