West Metro Structure Fire

On February 16h, 2026 at 07:54 West Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to possible structure fire in the 13500 block of W. Alaska Drive in Lakewood. Jeffcom 911 advised that 911 caller reporting a possible electrical fire with smoke inside. Engine 4 arrived on scene to a small two-story residential with smoke coming from the attic and pulled a 1/34 to the front door for search and initial attack with Medic 4 and Engine 2 established the water supply. District 2 arrived and assumed command on the Alpha-Bravo corner. The fire was quickly put out with no extension and no fire in the attic space. No injuries and the cause is under investigation.
