Mac Murry Court Structure Fire

At approximately 15:22 on May 3rd, 2026, Mountain View Fire Rescue was dispatched to a Commercial Structure Fire by the Weld County Regional Communications Center after smoke was reported in the 1200 block of Mac Murry Court in Dacono. While units were enroute, Frederick-Firestone was requested to respond with an Engine and Tender. Upon arrival crews were met with a a single-wide trailer style structure with flames showing and auto-exposing other structures on the property. Firefighters determined that everyone had exited the structure, though several pets were missing. Firefighters did note that two dogs were located unharmed while a single cat was still missing. The cause of the fire is under investigation by Mountain View Fire Rescue.
