Arvada Structure Fire

On May 25th, 2026 at 16:40 Arvada Fire Protection District and West Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a possible structure fire in the 5700 block of W. 60th Ave. Jeffcom 911 advised multiple callers reporting fire on the outside catching the building on fire. Battalion 51 arrived on scene with command and Engine 51 made forced entry into the lot to a shed on fire. Truck 54 arrived and pulled a line for fire attack, Engine 52 secured the water supply, Medic 54 as medical and Engine 55 pulled additional line in. The fire was put under control quickly and crews started overhaul. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
