South Richfield Structure Fire

At approximately 10:30 April 20th, 2018, South Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported residential structure fire at 6354 S. Richfield Street in unincorporated Arapahoe County. Crews arrived on scene with a few minutes and found smoke coming from the basement vents during their initial walk around. Firefighters quickly went to work making entry with a hose line, ventilating the residence and conducting searches. After extinguishing the fire, firefighters checked for extensions and mopped up hot spots. No injuries were reported and the cause remains under investigation.
