Aurora Electrical Fire

On August 22nd, 2025 at approximately 14:20 Aurora 911 dispatched Aurora Fire Rescue to a reported residential structure fire in the 24000 E. Minnow Circle. Engine 14 arrived on scene and found smoke in the garage. Chief 1 arrived shortly thereafter and assumed command while firefighters searched the structure for people, pets and the source of the smoke. Crews determined the smoke was caused by an electrical issue in the garage. Firefighters were on scene about 30 minutes neutralizing the hazard before turning the scene over to Xcel Energy. No injuries were reported.
