Golden Trapped MVA

On May 13th, 2025 around 02:30 Golden Fire Department, Pleasant View Fire Department and Stadium Medical was dispatched to an MVA at 17691 W. Colfax Ave. on Rooney Rd. Medic 22 arrived to a single-vehicle rollover down into a ravine with a single occupant trapped. Engine 41 arrived and started the extrication with Truck 24. Rescue 21 arrived and started vehicle stabilization. Battalion 21 arrived and requested Xcel to the scene with a large power pole that was hit and power lines down which knocked out power in the area. The patient was extricated and transported with minor injuries to a local hospital by Medic 22. Crews cleared the scene after 04:00. Additional information provided by Golden Fire Department
