High Line Canal Interface Fire

On July 7th, 2025 at approximately 13:35 South Metro Fire Rescue, Denver Fire Department and Aurora Fire Rescue were dispatched to a reported urban wildland interface fire along the High Line Canal behind 1181 S. Parker Rd. Crews arrived on scene and found that a brush fire had moved into the trees and onto the rear of an office building. Firefighters were on scene about 90 minutes extinguishing the fire and mopping up. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire, one of three along the High Line Canal in about an hour is under investigation.
