West Metro Grass Fire

On July 3rd, 2025 at 23:07 West Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a possible grass fire on Waterton Rd. at Campfire St. Jeffcom 911 upgraded the call to a large grass fire with multiple callers. Engine 15 and Brush 15 arrived to about half acre grass fire creeping uphill towards a subdivision and started direct attack. Engine 13 secured the water supply and Brush 19 and Brush 13 assisted with fire attack. The fire was put under control quickly and no injuries were reported. The fire cause is under investigation.
