Jeffco Sheriff Traffic Collision

On September 15th, 2025 at 09:51 West Metro Fire Rescue and South Metro Fire Rescue responded to a reported head-on traffic collision on S. Kipling Way at W. Coal Mine Ave. involving a Jefferson County Sheriff patrol unit. Rescue 10 arrived to find a T-bone MVA and all occupants out just east of the intersection with heavy damage to the right side of the vehicle. A second vehicle was located in the intersection with heavy damage to the frontend. The Jefferson County Sheriff deputy was transported to a local hospital for further evaluation, while other injuries are unknown. The cause is under investigation.
