Mountain View House Fire

Around 00:45 on October 27th, 2025 Mountain View Fire Rescue and Longmont Fire Department responded to a house fire along County Line Rd. (Weld County Rd. 1) just north of Hwy. 66, just outside of Longmont with 911 calls coming into both Weld County Regional Communications Center and Boulder County Communications dispatch centers. As firefighters started getting water on the exterior another team made entry into the home and attacked flames on the interior, and then performed a search of the structure. MVFR paramedics evaluated the family that had evacuated safely and found that they did not have any injuries. The modular home suffered significant fire damage to the back half of the structure plus water and smoke damage throughout the house. The structure is considered to be a total loss.
